Some use colourful language, others erupt like volcanoes. When it comes to coping with the craziness in the Funhouse, each person has a different way of dealing.
One inhabitant has a tendency to walk out without any warning except for the blue air left behind. Another keeps the phone lines busy.
But the prize for the most innovative way to cope goes to the youngest of us all. Yesterday she brought in a couple of friends--not just any old pals, but the kind that will never desert you. I'm talking fish here--beta, gold, and otherwise. And don't forget the snail. You wouldn't believe how fascinating it is to watch a snail. Sometimes it plays dead, sometimes it climbs the walls, and other times it just is. It is the most calming experience, I swear.
Our receptionist also keeps a fishbowl at her desk. I'm beginning to think that I should rename the Funhouse--it'll be the Zoo instead...
